“Dagestan is in a very difficult situation, many have died” - appeal of MMA world champion Nurmagomedov
Nurmagomedov is a Dagestan by origin. His father continued to live in Makhachkala, there he became infected with the coronavirus, was transported to Moscow and is now in intensive care in a very difficult situation.
In the video, Khabib Nurmagomedov says:
“In Dagestan, a very difficult situation, deplorable. The hospitals are crowded. A lot of people got sick, a lot of people died. We need to listen to doctors, the only way to win this disease. The hospitals already lack equipment and medicines. Only self-isolation can solve this problem. Everyone gets sick, the disease does not choose the poor or the rich. I personally have more than 20 close relatives lying in intensive care, a lot of friends have died. Think of your parents and grandparents. ”
Khabib Nurmagomedov is the current champion of the main international UFC lightweight championship and takes the second line in the UFC official ranking of the best fighters in the world, regardless of weight category.
Officially, in Dagestan 3,460 cases of coronavirus were detected, 29 of them died. However, authorities have confirmed that since the start of the epidemic, more than 700 people have died from pneumonia, and nearly 15,000 are in hospitals with this diagnosis.
