White sheep wool cloaks – Georgia’s disappearing craft

This film took two months to make, just long enough to craft one of these woolen cloaks.

Nutsa Kardava and Eliso Chigagua who live in Chkvareli village in Georgia’s Tsalenjikha District are the last remaining white cloak makers. The video shows all the stages involved in making one such cloak.
