Most tourists to Azerbaijan coming from Russia
In 2018, about 800,000 Russian tourists visited Azerbaijan, which is 5% more than last year, reports the Bureau of Tourism of Azerbaijan.

Also, tourists from neighboring Iran and Turkey often come to Azerbaijan.
In general, in 2018 Azerbaijan was visited by more than 2.8 million foreigners from 196 countries of the world, said the website yenicag.ru, citing the state border guard service. This is almost 6% more than in 2017 (approximately 2.7 million people).
More than half of those arriving in Azerbaijan are men – 66.1% of them.
Russians can stay in Azerbaijan without a visa for up to 90 days. If the trip is scheduled for more than 10 days, one needs to register with the police.
