More than 200 Armenian State Revenue Committee employees dismissed
There have been some structural changes in the Armenian State Revenue Committee – the Committee Chairman, Vardan Harutyunyan, told Armenian journalists.
A total of 200 employees have been dismissed since 1 January. It is noteworthy that the staff has been downsized in the whole structure, specifically in the tax service.
Vardan Harutyunyan disagrees that the aforesaid structural changes have been prompted by an abundance in staff. “Simply there haven’t been any structural changes in the State Revenue Committee for quite long. So, we have now decided to do some structural reshuffling. We should keep up with the times. We live in a technological era and everything should to be brought in line with present-day realities,” the Revenue Service chief explained.
