Georgia’s annual exports amounted to 176,8 million USD in January 2017, which is 45% up on the last year’s 122 million USD, the country’s statistics department reports.
Imports are reported to have grown too – by 15% (64 million USD) to 474,4 million USD.
This is the first time an increase in exports/imports has been registered after a falling trend that continued since 2014.
