Azerbaijan records first coronavirus death

A 51-year-old woman who contracted the coronavirus while in Iran has died in Azerbaijan today.

In addition to coronavirus, she was sick with lupus and renal failure, Report writes.

Family members of the deceased woman and people from her close circle have been quarantined.

The Azerbaijani government called on the country’s citizens to refrain from traveling abroad in the next two months.

Also, in the framework of the fight against the spread of the virus, the use of hookahs has been temporarily banned in Azerbaijani cafes and restaurants.
