18 new cases in Georgia – total 148
27 of those infected with coronavirus have recovered. One of them is a 81-year-old woman.
The virus has been found in a member of the Rustavi city council. His mother, an employee of the National Bank of Georgia, is also infected with the coronavirus. He claims that his mother was infected at work as a result of contact with banknotes.
Several employees of the Rustavi city council are isolated. The council was closed and the building sanitized.
There are 5,550 people in quarantine and 281 people in hospital.

Two people dead from coronavirus in one day in Armenia
On the morning of April 2, the death of a 68-year-old man was reported, whose infection with coronavirus was accompanied by coronary heart disease and chronic lung disease.
In the evening, the death of a 78-year-old woman was announced, who also had diabetes mellitus, hypertension and bilateral pneumonia in addition to coronavirus.
The deceased patient was not a citizen of Armenia.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, 663 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Armenia.

7 National Bank of Georgia employees test positive for coronavirus
All of the employees worked in the same department and have been isolated for the past two weeks.
According to media reports, the seven employees worked in the department where they dealt with money.
Paata Imnadze, deputy director of the National Center for Disease Control, said the hypothesis that the virus can spread through money has not yet been confirmed, but has not been ruled out.
The National Bank says that starting March 16, all banknotes that made their way to the bank have been taken out of circulation for 14 days to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In Georgia, from March 21 to April 21, there is a state of emergency and there are strict requirements for social isolation. Public transport, including the subway, is completely suspended.
There is a curfew – it is forbidden to go out from 21:00 to 06:00.
Only grocery stores and pharmacies work.
All types of online commerce, except food, are also prohibited.

92 new cases in Armenia
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 663 people in Armenia have contracted the coronavirus, 33 of them have recovered.

The biggest hospital in Armenia, the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in Yerevan, will be used to treat patients with coronavirus. All patients with other diseases will be transferred from this clinic to other medical institutions.

One of the latest cases of coronavirus infection is a 10-year-old child who came to Georgia from France with his parents. A 50-year-old woman from the Gali district of Abkhazia, who visited Russia, is under treatment in Georgia.
Prime Minister Giorgi Gaharia told reporters that “37 people have been transported to Georgia from the occupied regions of Georgia [Abkhazia and South Ossetia]”
