30 artists have covered an underground passage in Tbilisi's centre with murals

Tbilisi authorities have started to beautify the city’s underground passages. The largest one, located underneath Heroes Square in the centre of Tbilisi, has been the first to undergo the metamorphosis.

After years of being used as a lavatory and a dump the passage has been cleaned up, and a group of volunteer artists have covered its walls with murals.
