Body of Azerbaijani soldier retrieved from neutral territory between Azerbaijan, Armenia
The body of an Azerbaijani soldier has been recovered from neutral territory on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan through the International Committee of the Red Cross on February 19.
Akif Elshan oglu Abbasov disappeared under unknown circumstances a few days ago.
Armenian sources write that the operation was carried out at the request of the Azerbaijani side, and add that Andrzej Kasprzyk, personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, also participated.
Azerbaijani media use the wording “operation carried out with the consent of the parties.”
