Armenian Deputy FM: Israel ready to sell weapons to Armenia
“Israel is always ready to sell weapons to any country, including to Armenia,” Shavarsh Kocharyan, the Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister told journalists today. According to Kocharyan, whether the country will buy Israeli weapons or not, ‘depends on the price and some other issues’.
The Minister also stressed that Israel has sold weapons to Azerbaijan, though not out of hostility towards Armenia.
When asked whether Armenia had ever negotiated the sale of arms with Israel, Shavarsh Kocharyan answered as follows: ‘This question should be directed to another agency.”
The Armenian Defense Ministry hasn’t responded to the aforesaid question.
