Armenia included in the list of economically mostly free countries
The 2017 Index of Economic Freedom has assessed overall 180 countries, including Armenia, which has been ranked 33rd, scoring 70,3 points. Armenia’s position has improved by 21 points as compared with last year.
Armenia has been ranked 19th among 45 mostly free European states. It is a leader among the CIS counties and it cedes only to Georgia in the region.
The country has managed to achieve such rates through implementing reforms, like, for example, in the sphere of property rights; ensuring freedom of such components as investments, business & finances, as well increasing the level of government integration.
