Tsaishi village in Samegrelo region was once a balneological resort in Georgia, famous for its thermal waters but now it is famous for its vegetables.
Geno Asatiani was the first who decided to make a greenhouse and use natural hot water for it which no one needed as the resort lost its popularity amid the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Now in Tsaishi, on seven hectares, dozens of greenhouses with cheap production and environmentally friendly products exist.
