Whopping 22 more coronavirus cases registered in Armenia

On March 16, another 22 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Armenia.

This is the largest number of infections detected in the country in one day.

First, there was a message from the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan about 15 new cases:

“Some of them were already isolated, now their circle of contacts is being clarified.  In total, we have 45 confirmed cases, one of the patients was cured,” he said on his Facebook page.

But after some time a second message was received about seven more infected.

The new infections were reported after the government decided to impose a state of emergency in the country.
