Yerevan municipality imports 500,000 tulip bulbs from the Netherlands

According to Yerevan City Hall, 500,000 tulip bulbs were imported from the Netherlands.  They have been already planted in Yerevan’s parks, squares and curbs strips along with approximately 250,000 stored bulbs.

Since bulbs were planted in accordance with the rules, the cultivators expect great number of blooming tulips.

Tulips will be the first flowers to blossom in Yerevan. The municipal parks, squares and street flowerbeds will be decorated with tulips from March 20 till the end of April.
