Seven Azerbaijani students unable to leave quarantined Wuhan, China due to virus

Seven students from Azerbaijan cannot leave the Chinese city of Wuhan due to the quarantine. In total, about 500 Azerbaijani students are studying in China. The Ministry of Education has taken out 62, Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov told BBC.
They are constantly in contact with these seven and are looking for ways to take them out, say representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The city of Wuhan in central China is the epicenter of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus spread, from which more than a hundred people have died in the PRC. Currently, the city is completely closed for exit.
The fact that some Azerbaijani students have already left China has also been reported by Elmar Aghazadeh who lived there earlier and who has reently returned to Baku.
According to him, the majority of Azerbaijani students in China are not panicking but “calmly await the news.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan issued an order “On strengthening preventive measures against the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV).” According to this order, hospitals should set up special wards for hospitalizing patients with suspected acute respiratory viral infection and take other precautions.
The Ministry of Health is also cooperates with the Customs Committee, together checking for the presence of the virus of people coming from countries affected by the disease.
