A former Turkish MP predicts that Turkey will open the Armenian-Turkish border to citizens of third countries in January 2026, and in the following months to Armenian and Turkish citizens as well.
Anita Hipper, the EU Commission’s spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy, commented on a letter from EU Ambassador Pawel Herczynski circulated by pro-government Georgian media.
Georgi Rukhadze: “Unfortunately, the US is preoccupied with other matters, and the EU is unable to impose necessary sanctions in time.”
