Third case of coronavirus comes to Georgia from Iran
The third case of a new coronavirus was confirmed in Georgia on February 29.
The infected individual was a Georgian citizen who came from Iran.

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the Center for Disease Control, this person was in contact with the first confirmed case of coronavirus infection in Georgia.
“They were in Iran together. He arrived by land through Azerbaijan on February 28. He had a temperature of 38,” Gamkrelidze said.
The patient is currently in satisfactory condition, he was hospitalized in the infectious diseases hospital in Tbilisi.
In total, 93 people have been tested in Georgia, and only three have been positive for the coronavirus.
According to the Minister of Health, there are currently 170 people in quarantine in the country.
On February 29, an interdepartmental coordinating council created by the prime minister was convened.
The purpose of the council is to fight and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The following decisions were made at the meeting:
•To prevent disinfection work should be carried out in all school buildings in Georgia.
•Spring break will begin from March 2 instead of March 9 and run through March 16.
•Disinfection works will be carried out in public transport and kindergartens
