Armenia begins EU accession process: No answer on whether it is welcomed in Europe

The process was initiated by pro-Western politicians, and the authorities supported their initiative despite opposition protests. According to surveys, the majority of the population also seeks to join Europe, although not everything is clear to the people yet.
