“It is possible that the coronavirus may also be detected in them,” said Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the Center for Disease Control.
Currently, 87 people are quarantined in Georgia.
35 of them are in children’s wards.
Specialists recommend that all citizens returning from Italy remain in isolation for 14 days. If someone has symptoms during this period of fever, cough, shortness of breath, they should consult a doctor.
Previously, the virus was discovered in a Georgian citizen who returned from Iran through Azerbaijan.
