Mikheil Saakashvili freed by supporters

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili was freed by his supporters from a police car. As seen on TV footage, a handcuffed Saakashvili was taken out of the car in which he was kept for several hours by law enforcement officers.

Mikheil Saakashvili promptly addressed his supporters, calling on them to march to parliament and demand President Petro Poroshenko’s resignation.
