Karabakh President Calls for "Forming an International Anti-Terrorist Coalition"
Arayik Harutyunyan made this appeal on his Facebook page.
He states that Karabakh and Armenia are at the forefront of the fight against international terrorism:
“However, in this case, the specificity is that the enemy threatening the existence of world civilization came out against our country, hiding behind the flag of a UN member state, as part of the army of this state and often instead of this regular army. In the modern world, when it is impossible to hide anything from anyone, everyone saw and recorded the penetration of the international terrorist network of jihadists into Azerbaijan. It is no longer a secret for any state in the world that the target of this monstrous terrorist network is the civilian population of Artsakh and Armenia, our cities and villages, our right to live freely and control our own destiny. ”
According to the NK President, it is Turkey, involved in the management of this network, with the consent of the authorities of official Baku, creates a new hotbed of international terrorism in the South Caucasus. And Harutyunyan calls on all states of the world to prevent Turkey’s plans to turn Azerbaijan “into a den of terrorism in the South Caucasus”:
“Today Armenia and Artsakh are at the forefront of this struggle, since they have adequately accepted the challenge thrown to us. And we will fight until the final victory. But this is a problem not only for Armenia and Artsakh.
As the President of a state fighting for its independence, I call on the civilized world to take an active part in the fight against terrorism. The imperative of the day is the creation of an efficient and effective international anti-terrorist coalition.”

European Court of Human Rights upholds the appeal of the Armenian government against Turkey
This is already Armenia’s second appeal to the European Court. This time Armenia applied to the ECHR regarding the application of so-called interim measures against Turkey. The appeal was presented due to the fact that Turkey is involved in military operations in the conflict zone and provides support to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Moreover, as indicated in the appeal, these military actions are directed against the civilian population of Karabakh and Armenia and are accompanied by gross violations of international humanitarian law and the European Convention on Human Rights.
The European Court again satisfied the appeal of the Armenian government:
“The court confirmed the decision of September 29 on the application of interim measures and calls on all countries directly or indirectly involved in the conflict, including Turkey, to refrain from violating the rights of the civilian population provided for by the European Convention.”Armenia’s first appeal was submitted to the ECHR on September 27. This was due to the start of large-scale hostilities along the line of contact around Karabakh and in the direction of the Vardenis region of Armenia. Armenia demanded to force Azerbaijan to stop offensive hostilities, as well as point fire at people, civilian objects and settlements.
The first decision of the ECHR called on both parties to the conflict, that is, both Azerbaijan and Armenians “to refrain from any measures, in particular, military actions, which may lead to a violation of the conventional rights of the civilian population, including endangering their lives and health.” -
Iran warns of tough measures against the parties to the Karabakh conflict

On October 5, Iranian media reported that several bombs fell on the territory of the province bordering Armenia and Azerbaijan, a 6-year-old child was injured, and houses were damaged.
Iranian Defense Minister General Amir Khatami said: “The security of our borders is vital to us. Any attack is unacceptable for us, and if these steps are repeated, in addition to warnings, we will move on to tougher measures. ”
For the first time, it was reported that a shell fired from the Azerbaijani side fell on the territory of Iran. Where the bombs came from this time has not yet been reported. -

"Azerbaijani side continues to spread disinformation" - Armenian Defense Ministry
The press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan reports that Azerbaijan continues to disseminate information that the Armenian Armed Forces are allegedly shelling the peaceful cities of Azerbaijan:
“The military-political leadership of Azerbaijan continues its policy of misleading the international community and its own people. We declare that no fire was opened in the direction of Azerbaijan …
It is obvious that this disinformation of official Baku is aimed at preparing a propaganda ground for the resumption of hostilities, ignoring statements about the immediate cessation of hostilities by the international community, in particular, by the co-chair countries. ”

Initially, the war was initiated by the Azerbaijani authorities, but now the military-political leadership of Turkey is already waging it, Arthur Tovmasyan, speaker of the Nagorno-Karabakh parliament, said at a briefing.
“This is not a war between Armenians and Azerbaijanis, this is an attempt by Turkey to squeeze into the Transcaucasus.”
In this regard, Tovmasyan believes that the international community should apply sanctions against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In addition, Stepanakert, according to the speaker of the parliament, should participate in the negotiations on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict:
“Only the people of Karabakh, who are supported by the people of Armenia
and the Diaspora, have the right to decide the fate of Karabakh. Now we are all one family.”
