Azerbaijan student scholarships increase by $9

Student scholarships in Azerbaijan will see an increase of almost 20%, equalling $9.

This means that now, Azerbaijan’s exceptional students will receive 130 AZN [about $76] per month. Previously, this amount was 112 AZN [about $67].

The rest must pay, and tuition varies according to university and department – 31% of students study for free.

Up until now, only students from state schools received scholarships. Now, however, students of private schools will also receive scholarships.
