U.S. President Donald Trump meets Georgian PM
U.S. President Donald Trump met the Georgian PM, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, on 8 May.
“Honored to welcome Georgia Prime Minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili to the White House today with VP Mike Pence,” President Trump tweeted.
According to the Georgian Government’s administration, the meeting was held at the presidential Oval Office. President Trump emphasized that Georgia is an important ally and a strategic partner of the USA.
“The sides discussed significant issues and future plans for US-Georgia relations.
“President Trump expressed the US Government’s full support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. At the end of the meeting Prime Minister Kvirikashvili invited President Trump to Georgia,” the Georgian Government’s official website reads.
