The US Secretary of State promises to support Georgia's territorial integrity

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili have agreed on the cooperation, and also touched upon Georgia’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic space and its territorial integrity.
Tillerson reaffirmed America’s unwavering commitment to Georgia’s territorial integrity within the internationally recognized borders. The US Secretary General also said that the US supports Georgia’s progress towards of Euro-Atlantic integration.
The sides signed an agreement on safe exchange of information between Georgia and the United States. The agreement envisages safe exchange of information on the fight against terrorism, defense and security.
After signing the document, the sides discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in economic relations, defense and security.
“This is another proof of Georgia being a trusted partner of the United States. We have a 25 years’ record of very important cooperation, “- said Kvirikashvili.
PM Kvirikashvili’s three day visit to the United States has been completed. Along with various senior officials Georgian PM has also met with US President Donald Trump and VP Mike Pence.
