South Ossetian President to meet Putin in Moscow end of March

“A meeting between Russian President, Vladimir Putin and South Ossetian President, Leonid Tibilov will be held in the near future. The Presidents of two countries will discuss a bilateral treaty regulating incorporation of South Ossetian separate units in the Russian Armed Forced, as well as the expected pension and salary increase in the republic,” RF President’s Aide, Vladimir Surkov, told Interfax news agency.

As Gana Yanovskaya, SO President’s spokesperson, told JAMnews, at the meeting ‘Leonid Tibilov would report to Vladimir Putin on the referendum on renaming South Ossetia into Alania that is scheduled for April 9 in the republic along with the presidential election.”
