Lynx pounces on trainer during circus act in South Ossetia
A video has been circulating on social media of a lynx attacking a trainer during a traveling circus act in South Ossetia.
The audience was very close tot he arena and without substantial barriers, which in turn caused outrage. In the front rows there were children with their parents – and there were no barriers between the arena and the lynx, not even a simple net.
“The organizers of the performance, including those from South Ossetia, apparently believe that there are too many children here,” social media users on Telegram write.
People are also outraged by the lack of control of this business:
“These are second-rate circuses that do not have the means for proper care and maintenance of animals. Moreover, their animals are mostly rejected from larger circuses. Such dealers need to go on a tour somewhere, and they go to a place where no one will control,” write users on several Telegram channels.
