Light aircraft crashes in Abkhazia
A light aircraft crashed near Pitsunda, a resort in Abkhazia, leaving the pilot and two passengers dead, one of which is a 6-year old girl.
According to the Abkhazian Emergency Ministry, the plane belonged to The Seventh Sky, a Russian commercial piloting club. The pilot and one of the passengers were Russian citizens, and the girl came from Odessa.
This is the second incident near Pitsunda in the last month. On 6 July, a plane of the same type also crashed there due to engine failure, though the pilot and the two passengers survived with injuries.
