The game was held in Cluj, Romania.
The match started out badly for Georgia – a number of fumbles led to a 6 point lead by the 27th minute.
But everything changed after the first half and led to an impressive victory for the Georgian team. The game had one more meaning: it was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the relationship between Georgia and Romania.
The next match for the Georgian national team will be in Tbilisi on 17 February against the Spanish team. Last year, the Georgian national team won the European Nations Cup for the tenth time.
