Coronavirus in Georgia: another 14 people waiting for lab results
On March 2, Georgian hospitals received another 14 new patients – two in Kutaisi, one in Gori, and the rest in Tbilisi.
Their analyses have been sent to the Lugar Laboratory, whose answer will be ready in the afternoon. Currently, 40 patients are under observation in infectious diseases hospitals in Georgia.

Between January and February, samples from 171 individuals were tested at the Lugar Laboratory.
The disease was confirmed only in three – a 31-year-old woman who arrived from Italy, and two men who came from Iran.
They are placed in isolation wards at Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital, they are currently feeling well and are continuing treatment.
97 people remain in quarantine. Five quarantined spaces have been created in Georgia to implement quarantine measures.
According to the head of the Center for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze, a high-alert mode continues to operate in Georgia. Schools have been let out on break early, from March 2 to March 16.
Until March 16, theaters and cinemas have cancelled screenings and shows, and disinfection works are being carried out in public transport, underpasses and public buildings.
