Belarus gets first case of coronavirus from Iranian student arriving from Baku

The first case of coronavirus has been registered in Belarus, Euroradio reports, noting the infected individual, an Iranian citizen who came into the country from Baku, arrived on February 22.

He tested positive for the virus on February 27.

The presence of the coronavirus was confirmed by tests conducted at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.

The patient and the people who interacted with him were placed in quarantine at the infectious diseases hospital in Minsk. It is reported that the young man feels satisfactory.
