The SoloLearn code-teaching App, developed by Armenian software specialists, has won the Grand Prize of the Facebook Start ‘App of the Year’ competition.
The SoloLearn App teaches coding through iOS/Android operating systems.
“The idea of the App is to educate members about game mechanics, peer-to-peer sharing and user-generated content. It offers 12 free courses, including JavaScript, Swift, Python, C++, and HTML/CSS,” said David Kocharyan, the SoloLearn Company co-founder and CEO.
According to the company officials, SoloLearn allows for completing tens of thousands of interactive ‘quizzes’ daily. The App is already used by 17 million people, of which 1.5 million use it daily.
