Volunteers repair roads in Abkhazia
A group of young people repaired several dilapidated streets in Sukhum last night.
They independently hired a concrete mixer, took shovels in their hands and all night smoothed over potholes in the center of the city – on the streets of Lakoba, Pushkin, Chanba, Ardzinba, Shamil and on Mira Avenue.

This demonstration was not accompanied by any informational support or public appeals. Moreover, the volunteers have not given any interviews or even their names.
Social media networks in Abkhazia are filled with admiration for the volunteers – and harsh criticism for the authorities and the state of transport infrastructure in Abkhazia.
