Underwater alcohol pipeline found running from Moldova to Ukraine

An underwater pipeline has been discovered by border guards in the Kuchurgan water reservoir in the Odessa region of the Ukraine. A long, 32 millimeter diameter hose was reported to have been used as the pipeline.

“It was obviously meant for smuggling from Moldova to Ukraine,” the border guards report says. The pipeline was not in use, as ‘the hose did not smell of spirits’, investigators reported.
