Nine people infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan - three new cases discovered

In Azerbaijan, three more coronavirus cases have been confirmed. All three are Azerbaijani citizens who returned home from Iran. This brings the total number of cases in the country to nine.
All those infected are in a specialized treatment hospital.
The border between Azerbaijan and Iran is closed, but there is still a corridor open for citizens of both countries to return home.
The Ministry of Health assures the public that the country has everything they need to test for coronavirus, the patients are in stable condition, and that the situation is under control.
To prevent the spread of the virus, all educational institutions and kindergartens are closed in Azerbaijan through March 9. The schools are being disinfected, as well as all trains and public transport. Theaters and concert halls will be closed until March 27.
The government is using television to tell people how to protect themselves from coronavirus. They are asked to wash their hands more often and avoid crowded places.
