How fast can you solve the Rubik’s cube? Our vox pop revealed that only 3 out of 50 people can do it in 10 minutes. 10 people take on to solve this task within a day, whereas the overwhelming majority admit, they are not much interested in that. On first encounter with the Rubik’s Cube they just twisted the toy this way and that, but in vain. So, they gave up on this matter.
And this, by the way, is sports. Speedcubing, solving the Rubik’s Cube in the shortest time possible, is, so to say, moderately popular in Baku. ‘Baku Autumn-2016′ is already the fifth speedcubers’ tournament, held since 2012. Although there were no crowds of spectators at the tournament, the participants manifested a fantastic passion. The tournament lasted for a few hours. The best results were: solving the cube in 10 seconds with both hands and in 22 seconds-single-handed. Both records were set by Javid Nabizade.
