Sand pictures, Yerevan style
Armen Mkhoyan lives in Yerevan and is a professional sand artist. He says there are two ways to create a sand picture: by pouring sand on a white surface or by clearing up a surface that is already covered with sand.
“A sand drawing has a strong soothing effect. When I draw, I experience the same sensations as one does when playing with hot sand on the seashore.”
