Joint Azerbaijani-Turkish tactical exercises Mustafa Kemal Ataturk 2019 have kicked off in Azerbaijan.They are being held to exchange experience between the armies of the two countries and in order to develop the skills of well-coordinated interaction and joint operations among the military personnel.
The exercises are being held within the framework of an agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey and will last from May 1 to 3, Trend reports.Exercises involve armored vehicles, artillery and mortars, combat and transport helicopters, air defense units and anti-aircraft missile units.
