Georgian-Russian border closed for trucks due to heavy snow

The Georgian Roads Department has reported that heavy goods vehicles have been prohibited from making use of the Kazbegi-Upper Lars highway at the Georgian-Russian border.
Semi-trucks and semi-trailers have also been restricted from using the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway due to heavy snowfall. However, other types of vehicles may pass freely.
Vehicles have also been prohibited from stopping in the aforesaid area.
It is also prohibited to stop vehicles on the 132nd-135th km section of the Dariali Gorge highway.
