This woman with the stage name, ‘Jasmine’, has been performing on one of the central avenues of Yerevan every night for nearly two years. She believes that all bypassers admire her talent, but foreign guests in the capital appreciate her work more. She regards the performances of other musicians around her as tasteless.
She no longer dreams of performing on the stage. The street is her stage. There is not a lack of an audience here. The only complaints she receives are from police officers, who have been bothering her more these days, telling her not to sing loudly. However, as long as she receives applause and words of praise, Hasmik will keep performing regardless of what the police officers say.
